Intelligent emergency lighting for a critical healthcare environment. As part of Bradford Royal Infirmary’s new £25m Endoscopy Unit, P4 was appointed to design, supply, and commission a state-of-the-art Emergency Lighting solution.
Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is an award-winning NHS hospital and community services trust which employs over 3,000 staff and has over 350 committed volunteers providing high quality, personalised and specialist care for a population of over 200,000 people from a widespread area covering 700 square miles within Yorkshire and Lancashire.
Trafford General Hospital is part of the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), which is one of the largest acute Trusts in the UK, employing more than 28,000 staff. It’s also known as “The Birthplace of the NHS”. The first NHS hospital, opened in 1948 by Aneurin Bevan. In 2023 the NHS celebrated its 75th Birthday and P4 celebrated working with Trafford General Hospital for over 25 years.
Yeovil District Hospital’s Modular Day Theatres were created to serve day patients whilst reducing waiting times and helping the trust meet targets. With P4 emergency lighting already installed site-wide, it was a natural progression to expand the system in this new building.
Hammersmith Hospital is a major teaching hospital in West London and part of the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. This hospital is internationally renowned for clinical research, historically specialising in the heart and kidney, and now includes an angioplasty suite, a cancer centre, leukaemia wing and the West London Renal and Transplant Centre.
IHEEM recently invited one of the UK’s leading self-testing emergency lighting specialists, P4, to work with it, when a regular fire inspection by a local fire officer of the Institute’s headquarters building in Portsmouth highlighted regulatory compliance concerns.
The Trust is the largest cardiothoracic centre in the UK and consists of two hospitals: Royal Brompton Hospital, London and Harefield Hospital, Middlesex.
Northwick Park Hospital is part of the London North West Healthcare NHS Trust, which is one of the largest trusts in the country. It is one of eight London hyper acute stroke units (HASUs), based in the Borough of Harrow and is a teaching hospital for students of Imperial College School of Medicine.
