Omega

The Omega is a discreet low profile LED sign offering an attractive solution for emergency escape signage.

This sign can either be flush or surface wall mounted. The white powder coated housing incorporates an internally illuminated die-cut pictogram legend panel, which offers a maximum viewing distance of either 20 or 30 meters. Illumination is achieved via an LED light source.

P4’s Fastel fully automatic self-testing system is compliant with BS EN 62034 and is incorporated in all emergency lighting models and conforms to the requirements of the appropriate harmonized European standards and BS EN 60598-1 and BS EN 60598-2-22. Sign illumination is compliant BS EN 1838.

Fully automatic self-testing models are available in Fastel Standalone, Fastel Link and Fastel Wireless technologies for standalone or linked systems.

Specifications

Discreet slimline LED wall mounted sign luminaire for (emergency lighting* / mains lighting*). Shall be supplied with (white* / RAL [insert RAL number] *) finish. Sign luminaire shall be supplied with a single sided legend panel with a pictogram for (20m* / 30m*) maximum viewing distance shall be available in the following formats:

BS 5499 Format*
European Signs Directive Format*
Hospital Technical Memorandum (HTM) Format*
BS EN ISO 7010 Format*

Legend panels shall be illuminated by a white multiple LED light source and illumination shall comply with the requirements of BS EN 1838. Emergency lighting versions shall be capable of non-maintained or maintained operation, shall incorporate rechargeable batteries for 3-hour emergency duration and fully automatic self-testing facilities complying with BS EN 62034, with status indication by a multi-function dual-colour LED Indicator.

All models shall be supplied from a 220V—240Vac 50/60 Hz input and shall be provided with a ten-year warranty, including rechargeable batteries in emergency lighting versions.

Emergency lighting versions shall comply with BS EN 60598-2-22
