Discreet, flush mounted LED sign luminaire for the illumination of suspended, single or double sided 12mm panel with die-cut pictogram legends suitable for a maximum viewing distance up to 30m.

Particularly suitable for low ceiling installations and indicating changes of direction on escape routes, the ceiling plate can be provided in alternative colours to match or complement any installation.

P4’s Fastel fully automatic self-testing system is compliant with BS EN 62034 and is incorporated in all emergency lighting models and conforms to the requirements of the appropriate harmonised European standards and BS EN 60598-1 and BS EN 60598-2-22. Sign illumination is compliant to BS EN 1838.

Fully automatic self-testing models are available in Fastel Standalone, Fastel Link and Fastel Wireless technologies for standalone or linked systems.

P4’s unique 10-year luminaire and battery warranty is included for all lithium products (subject to terms and conditions).

Specifications

Recessed ceiling mounted edge lit sign luminaire for (emergency lighting* / mains lighting* / static inverter and central battery operation*). Shall be supplied with (white* / RAL [insert RAL number] *) finish. Sign luminaire shall be supplied with a (single* / double*) sided 12mm legend panel with a pictogram for 30m maximum viewing distance shall be available in the following formats:

BS 5499 Format*
European Signs Directive Format*
Hospital Technical Memorandum (HTM) Format*
BS EN ISO 7010 Format*

Legend panels shall be illuminated by a white multiple LED light source and illumination shall comply with the requirements of BS EN 1838. Emergency lighting versions shall be capable of non-maintained or maintained operation, shall incorporate rechargeable batteries for 3-hour emergency duration and fully automatic self-testing facilities complying with BS EN 62034, with status indication by a multi-function dual-colour LED Indicator.

All models shall be supplied from a (230v +/- 10% ac 50/60 Hz* / 50V ac/dc* / 110V ac/dc*) input and shall be provided with a ten-year warranty, including rechargeable batteries in emergency lighting versions.

Emergency lighting versions shall comply with BS EN 60598-2-22
