P4 Founders Retire

It is with regret but warm wishes that P4 announce the retirement of Peter and Maureen Warner on 13th September 2016. Their leaving marks the end of an era for P4 Limited, after 27 years of steering the company to being the UK’s most successful independent supplier of self testing emergency lighting systems.

Peter was the founder of P4 and the company’s CEO. A qualified engineer, Peter led the product design team with his love of and flair for industrial design, as well as using his extensive business experience to guide the direction and strategy of the company. After seeing the need and opportunity to introduce self testing emergency lighting into the UK market, Peter pioneered the technology that today has become recommended by European standards as best practice. He had to overcome many industry concerns and objections along the way in order to convince the regulators of the merit and benefits of his development. Peter’s passion for the industry and for P4 is well known throughout the industry and led to the company’s success.

Working with husband Peter at P4 since its inception, Mo always controlled the business finances and was the company’s Financial Director and Company Secretary. Joining the business with experience in banking and in the hospitality business, Mo managed to balance a successful career in business with a busy home life as a wife and mother. Having responsibilities with her team for the commercial hub of the business, Mo was intimately involved in all commercial activities, from orders and order processing, sales and commissioning through to ensuring the company’s maintenance activities run smoothly; mean while, Mo ensured the sound financial footing of the business and compliance with all statutory requirements.

Everyone at P4 extends their thanks for their hard work, dedication and commitment and wishes them a wonderful, well deserved retirement. They will be sorely missed.
