Rob Warner

Managing Director

Having led the P4 manufacturing team for some years, Rob was appointed Managing Director in 2007 and continued to lead the company from strength to strength. Today, P4 is the leading independent self-testing emergency lighting company in the UK.

Son of P4’s founder Peter, Rob joined the company in 1995, after gaining qualifications and experience in production engineering. He has been able to use his background to hugely benefit P4 over the past years, by developing its processes and methods to provide customers with industry leading service and customer care.

After moving with his family to North Norfolk in the mid 2000s, Rob is actively involved in the local community, alongside his demanding role leading P4. This regularly takes him to all parts of the country to assist and guide the company’s sales and service teams.

Alan Daniels

Business Development Director

A well-known figure in the industry, Alan first joined the emergency lighting industry in 1976 and with a break of only 2-3 years has worked in it ever since. Having qualified in both electrical/electronic engineering and mechanical engineering, Alan has worked in product and general management, as well as design and technical roles in a variety of positions and companies.

After joining P4 in 2006, Alan continued to serve as a Council Member for the Industry Committee for Emergency Lighting (ICEL), as he has since the 1980s. Over many years Alan has been involved in the development of standards for emergency lighting in the UK and in Europe and for training many recruits to the industry.

Alan has responsibility for various aspects of P4’s business including the company’s quality management and accreditation with external bodies. A former P4 Technical Director, Alan provides support to the technical department and sales team whenever required. He regularly delivers CPD presentations and speaks at industry events on behalf of P4 as well as writing articles about emergency lighting issues.

Steve Rham

UK Sales & Marketing Director

Steve Rham joined P4 in 2013 as Area Sales Manager for the South East covering South London, Surrey, Sussex Kent and Hampshire. In 2019 Steve was promoted to Sales and Marketing Manager and in 2021 was promoted to the position of Sales Director.

As well as heading up P4’s UK sales team, Steve also looks after a number of key clients who benefit from his 30 years of emergency lighting design and sales experience.

Prior to working for P4 Steve worked in emergency lighting, fire sales and electrical contracting.

Aaron Kent

Technical Director

Aaron joined the P4 team in 2016 as a Maintenance and Commissioning Engineer and quickly established himself as a vital part of the engineering team. In early 2017, he worked with software design engineers and aided in the development of the P4 Fastel Wireless system. During this process, he built up an extensive knowledge of the P4 system.

Aaron was appointed Engineering and Technical Manager in 2019, and moved to Norfolk to spend more time in the P4 office. Promoted to Technical Director in 2023 he now focuses his time on project management, P4 engineer support, technical support, P4 system development and BSI accreditation.

Wendy Lynes

Business Administration Manager

Wendy joined the P4 team in 2018 as a Design Administrator following her move to Norfolk. With over thirty years’ experience in administration, she quickly became a vital part of the P4 team, with a keen eye on managing project needs and working to deadlines. In early 2021, Wendy was appointed Business Administration Manager, she now focuses her time looking after Human Resources, overseeing the administrative resources for the business and supporting the Directors.

Caroline Randall

Management Systems Manager

Caroline joined the P4 team in 2021, with in excess of 20 years’ experience in quality management systems in manufacturing industries. Within quality management she also covers Health & Safety and Environment requirements. Caroline’s role covers all areas of the business to ensure Products and Services we supply comply with quality and compliance as set out in our industry standards. To ensure the company’s continual improvement and status as market leaders within the emergency lighting industry through effective processes and procedures.

Paul Woodbine

Finance Manager

Paul joined the P4 team in 2009, having spent 15 years in an accounting practice, where he qualified as MAAT and 11 years as Finance Manager at a local leisure resort. Paul’s role covers the day to day management of the company finances, management reporting and the company payroll.

Sales Team

Andrew Osborn

Area Sales Manager

Andrew joined P4 in 2017 and is currently responsible for the East Anglia region, focusing on key market sectors including the NHS, local authorities, education and commercial end users. His role at P4 has enabled Andrew to bring his own unique selling skills to support our existing customers, whilst developing new opportunities and building long-term working relationships.

Andrew has spent over 30 years working within the electrical industry, including HVAC, data communications, M&E plus LED lighting manufacturers.

During his career, Andrew has secured some very lucrative projects including full data and voice communication for the 2012 Summer Olympics Athletes village, plus, following a cold call, secured a 2 year LED lighting project for Toyota UK.

Louise Britton

Area Sales Manager

Louise joined P4 in 2014 as an Area Sales Manager, covering the South West and South Wales. Louise focuses on various market sectors, including NHS, education, local authorities and commercial. Louise has over 14 years experience within the lighting industry.

Louise has been involved in many high profile projects within the NHS and educational sectors, which include new build developments and existing building refurbishments. She is very customer focused and works closely with her customers from the very start of their projects, as well as covering aftersales queries.

As with all P4 Area Sales Managers, Louise works closely with consultants and end users, delivering the very latest information on BS5266 standards, through technical briefings and survey guidance. Through her experience in the industry, Louise is able to offer the best possible solution to her customers.

Matt Sherran

Area Sales Manager

Matthew joined P4 in 2014 as an Area Manager covering the North West, Yorkshire and the Humber. He has delivered numerous projects within the healthcare, education and local government sectors.

During his time at P4, Matthew has gained substantial knowledge on the compliance of emergency lighting, and has provided solutions to all manner of applications.

Matt Fraser

Business Development Manager

Matt Fraser joined P4 in 2009. He has over 23 years’ experience working in life safety solutions, and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the P4 team.

As Business Development Manager, Matt provides a strategic approach to National Accounts, in addition to managing key universities, NHS Trusts and public/private sector accounts across his own area. Based in Staffordshire, Matt covers the East & West Midlands, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Cheshire and Mid/North Wales.

Matt is passionate about customer service and delivering a consultation-led approach to existing and new end users of the P4 emergency lighting system. As an experienced surveyor and project manager, Matt is able to provide technical briefings, surveys and specialist advice to electrical designers, installers and end users.

Pete Smith

Area Sales Manager

Pete Smith joined the company in 2022 as Area Sales Manager for the Home Counties.

Starting out in retail sales, he gained promotion into management and subsequently discovered his passion in the shape of LED lighting. Having managed a number of prestigious lighting projects within art galleries, museums and high end residential and commercial properties, quality of light and stunning end results became paramount to Pete.

He joins P4 with a wealth of experience in the lighting industry and a true passion for customer satisfaction.

Ryan Wood

Area Sales Manager

Ryan joined P4 in May 2022 to cover Kent, London SE & E postcodes.

Ryan comes from a mains lighting background where he accrued a wealth of knowledge working with Specifiers throughout the southeast for nearly 30 years. He worked for Ridi & Reggiani Lighting (amongst others) in the past.

Marc Sharples

Area Sales Manager

Marc joined in July 2022 and manages North East England, Scotland and Ireland.

Marc has over 20 years’ in sales management roles within the lighting industry, working for companies such as Zumtobel and RS Components and with clients from end users to contractors he brings a wealth of experience to the role.
