Norman Lamb MP officially opened the new headquarters of one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of emergency lighting products in Fakenham today (September 15 2009). The company, with a turnover in excess of £2.0m, employs 25 people, and has relocated to Fakenham from its previous base in Bedfordshire.
P4 ‘s FASTEL family of self contained and computer addressable self-testing emergency lighting systems have long set the standard in commercial and public buildings throughout the UK for their reliability and cost effectiveness. The range now includes wire-free and LAN options for remote monitoring and more effective maintenance management.
The new range of Lumasign Design LED emergency exit signs and TriLED LED luminaires provide superior performance and aesthetic appeal.
“The move to a new 7000 sq ft purpose built headquarters in Fakenham enables us to incorporate all our operations under one roof, gives us the scope to plan future expansion, and creates a real Centre of Excellence for self testing emergency lighting of the highest quality,” said Chairman, Peter Warner.
Norman Lamb MP, congratulating the company on its foresight and enterprise, said: “Not only am I impressed by your decision to move your entire operation to north Norfolk, but that you have hit the ground running with this most impressive facility, which I am sure will guarantee you success well into the future.”
