Health Check

P4 understand that one size does not fit all. Particularly given that buildings have different uses, are of different ages and will have varied emergency lighting installations, often with slight differences, over a period of time.

There is a UK legal requirement for Emergency lighting installations – their regular inspection, their maintenance and upkeep – to have a ‘named responsible person’, whom must be able to demonstrate compliance with The Regulatory Reform Order (RRO) 2006 and BS5266 amongst other laws, rules and regulations.

Responsible persons are often facilities managers, estates managers or building owners and P4’s team are able to work with existing and potential customers to undertake an emergency lighting health check by survey of their existing installation and provide unbiased informed advice on layout alterations or upgrades.

At P4 we care passionately about safety compliance, ease of use, simplicity and crucially, the safety of everyone involved. By using the services of a BAFE SP203-4 certified company like P4, individuals with responsibility for fire safety can demonstrate that they have complied with this aspect of the law.

Initial Health Check

P4 recommends a system health check one year after a FASTELink or SRM system has been fully commissioned. This health check is carried out free of charge to ensure that, one year on, the system is operating to the full satisfaction of the end user. A free of charge initial system health check can also be scheduled for any FASTELink or SRM system older than one year.

Annual Health Check

At P4 we offer a detailed and thorough annual system health check. Our highly-skilled experts visit our customers to undertake a health check of all P4 equipment and technology to ensure everything is working correctly. This can also be used as an opportunity to discuss any ongoing training and development needs.
